| Congratulations! If your team has qualified to attend the Regional Championship, Congratulations! Teams will be involved in team-based activities that will expand on the exercises from the local Team Quest competition. Team-building skills will be utilized throughout the day. The top five teams will receive team and individual trophies, prizes will also be awarded. As a qualifying team you are now one step closer to the Team Quest Finals and to the Grand Prize! Registration Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and goes to 9:00 a.m. with the competition beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending by 4:00 p.m. The teams that will be advancing on to the Finals may need to stay longer to receive important information. If possible, an advisor or parent should be present to hear the information. If your team(s) needs to cancel, please do so at least 7 days prior to the program in order to receive a refund. Lunch Four student meals and one adult meal is included in the team's registration fee. Additional lunch tickets can be purchased when registering or on the day of the program. The cost will be $6.00 Theme We will again have a theme for our Regional program. This year the theme will be "Medieval Times". Costumes are not required but it can be helpful for a team to research ideas to gain important knowledge about this particular subject. Prizes will be awarded for top costumes. We will try to judge the majority if not all of the costume presentations before the program begins or during the first competitive event. T-Shirts As always commemorative t-shirts will be available for the 2012 Regional Championships. The price will be $13.00 per shirt (2XL $14) and they should be pre-ordered to guarantee the size you want. We will have extra t-shirts available but those who pre-ordered their shirts will be filled first. Team Quest Store At the Regional program the Team Quest Store will be available for students, teachers, and parents. There will be a variety of exciting and challenging educational toys and books. The store will open at 8:30 a.m. Other opportunities to shop will be given throughout the day. |
